Day 1. The Artisan Discovery
Perfect for hobbyists and travelers! Dive into the delicate world of Batik Canting and the bold patterns of Shibori. In just day one , you will learn the precision of wax-drawing and the magic of resist-dyeing.
Hand-Drawn Batik: Master the Canting pen to create your own A4 masterpiece.
Shibori Artistry: Fold, twist, and dye your own custom Cotton Bandana.
Take Home: Your framed Batik art and a wearable Shibori scarf.
Day 2. The Textile Designer Series
The ultimate deep-dive for fashion enthusiasts! Learn the professional process of creating 2-meter Batik fabric from scratch. This course focuses on the Hand-stamped (Blok) technique, used by professional batik houses across Malaysia.
Design & Waxing: Sketch your layout and master the copper Blok stamping technique.
Dyeing & Finishing: Learn professional color-fixing and the “Boil-off” dewaxing process.
