Gromwell Root

Gromwell Root also known as Lithospermum Root, is often used in traditional herbalism.

In traditional Chinese Medicine, lithospermum root has been used internally to cool blood, invigorate blood circulation and relieve toxin in the treatment of bleeding, incomplete eruption of measles, and externally to eliminate heat and toxins from the skin in the treatment of lesions, eczema, cervical erosion, vaginal itching and burns.

Gromwell (Lithospermum erythrorhizon) has been used as an herbal medicine for treatment of various abnormal skin conditions including wounds, inflammation and healing burns

Purple gromwell heals wounds, rashes and burns.

Can be used as a natural purple dye in soaps, masks and scrubs.

Origin Country: Taiwan

Suggested Uses:  For soap making, oil infusions.

Grade: Cosmetic

Caution: Do not ingest. Keep away from eyes.
